As we celebrate the birth of Jesus this year, I wanted to give one lucky reader (and a guest) a chance to experience a beautiful story of redemption and love in the Black classic Broadway musical, Porgy & Bess! This is one of my absolute favorite musicals and stars Private Practice alum Audra McDonald as the soulful Bess who tries to escape her scandalous past with the help of the loving Porgy (played by Norm Lewis):
