“Giving honor to God, pastor, saints, and friends,” or “To the God of Abraham, Isaac, and William R. Harvey” were ways I was going to open up my acceptance speech (Baptist / Hampton University thang), but I was honestly shocked when I actually won and didn’t know what to say at all!!
