On March 22, 2024, Brooke C. Obie’s directorial debut short film GOD IS A FREQUENCY was short-listed for the Best Women’s Short and Best First-Time Filmmaker (Female) categories at the 2024 Independent Shorts Awards film festival. The awards festival will take place in September in Los Angeles with GOD IS A FREQUENCY as an official selection.
